A few years ago I was invited to shoot in the Sistine Chapel as part of a special project in which nine photographers were invited to document their personal vision of the Vatican Museums.
The exhibition of this project will be in the Palazzo Reale in Milan from May 24th through July 1st.
I am the only American in the exhibition and I was honored to work in the Sistine Chapel. I was assigned to appropriate the images of Michelangelo and transform them using my unique process in the manner of my Renaissance portfolio.
